This morning dad was able to visit with some of our extended family. He has been more alert and aware today. He is really beginning to put together and remember the last few days and is able to tell folks how long he was in the ICU. We are especially encouraged to see a bit of his sense of humor returning as he continues to fight the infection. In his best "Clint Eastwood" voice (as dad is now calling it), we are happy to hear him telling us he loves us and watching his mind process all that is happening.
I'm glad to hear he's getting better. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tim, you, and the crew. Thank's for keeping us posted. -Will
ReplyDeleteWe're praying for you and Tim, Karen- and your family. Jennifer and Scott Davis
ReplyDeleteJon and I are so glad to hear the very encouraging news! Your family is in our continued thoughts and prayers - Jon and Judi Glover
ReplyDeleteAs we close an Episcopal Eucharist the congregation responds, "Thanks be to God!" Certainly this is a response that many will either write here or at least mumble as they read this uplifting news and beautiful tribute to a Godly man and loved father and husband! So many at TCC are grateful to hear of improvement and continue to pray for Tim's return to full health and for renewed strenth for all six of you in your continued hours in PCU at SWH. God's peace, Sally
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Clint Eastwood, "A man's got to know his limitations." OK Tim, you found yours. Now get out of that hospital bed and back to doing God's work. You are needed.
ReplyDeleteGodspeed,
Tom and Lori Roberts
We will be praying for a good surgical outcome for tomorrow, Tim. Also, of course, continued prayers, love and hugs to you, Karen, Katie, Mary
