We just want to remind everyone that Dad is scheduled for surgery at 4:00 this afternoon. He will head that way around 2:30 or 3:00 to be put under the anesthesia and has already been pulled off of all food and liquids (he's hungry already!). Dr. Wagner will perform the surgery and came in to visit dad late last night. He is reporting that he may in fact need to take some of the bone at the very top of the foot, near the toes, but nothing too serious. But we won't really know anything for sure until after the surgery (and of course we will post as soon as we know something more).
