Dad was able to graduate to a soft food diet for lunch today. He pretty much ravaged his lunch and declared that it was difficult to teach yourself how to eat again, but he endured the frustration and enjoyed eating more solid food (which he says is pretty good for hospital food!) We are happy to report that he was visited by a physical therapist who was able to move him from the bed to a chair and we visited with him for about twenty minutes sitting in a chair!
We are continually grateful for all of your prayers and for your continued well wishes for dad at this site. He is still fighting the infection and needs prayers for strength but also for continued peaceful rest.
Yay! Go, Tim, go!
ReplyDeleteWe believe God is a big Clint Eastwood fan, so keep working at it as your strength returns!! Humor and faith are great healers. Our prayers for you, Karen & the girls.

I know you all have a lot going on there and that there are many claims on your time, but I want to say a big "thanks" for your faithfulness in taking time to post updates. It is so good to be able to check in from time to time and find out how things are going. Of course, it is WONDERFUL to find out that things are moving in a positive direction, and my prayers are that that will continue. Blessings to you all ~ Bonnie Creel
